99% of the information will only be found with the search engine. Use it as you use Google ! Consider the left side menues as your browser's 'my favorites'. Use the CCUG site as your starting point when you are looking for information on strains, species or when you check 16S rRNA sequences and phylogeny. The site is the Curator's starting point. Probably it will suit you in your work with identification ! - Looking for Quality Control strains ? Try the QC button (and search) - Do you wish to order on-line ? Use the search engine to find at least one strain. Click the ORDER button, Click the CHECK ORDER button and fill in your coordinates. You may abort the proceedure any time. If you wish to add more strains, you may do so in the same session (you can't quit). You may delete strains before submitting the order. - The PDF buttons are shortcuts to supplementary information held in pdf-files. Word documents, GelCompar dendrograms, scanned informative pages are conveniently displayed as pdf documents. Your browser should allow pop-ups ! - You need some reference strains, but you don't know which to choose ? Use the PDF button and find a dendrogram. Select strains close to the type strain.
